Operational security, associated with prevention, mitigation and response to events that put human life, the environment and property at risk through the adoption of safety measures which guarantee the physical integrity of the facilities throughout its lifetime.

Occupational health and safety, associated with the study of current dangers of the activities carried out by staff and suppliers while at work. As a further effect, it also protects clients and the community who may be affected by the activities, the sub-products produced, or by products consumed and/or supplied.

Environmental Protection, associated with the study of current dangers of the activities carried out by workers and the operational processes, aimed at preventing damage to the environment (soil, water and air).
