SSLNG
By opening a new front for natural gas monetization and diversifying clients and revenue sources, Eneva developed the Small Scale LNG – SSLNG business model, based on the Reservoir-to-Client (R2C) approach, where the natural gas produced is liquefied at the Parnaíba plant and sold to industrial clients and for use in the heavy-duty automotive sector.
Starting in 2024, with the completion of the 600,000 m³/d liquefaction plant at Parnaíba, Eneva began supplying natural gas to off-grid clients, including industrial plants of large companies, regional distributors, and companies using road transportation fleets.
600 mil thousand m³/day
By using LNG, clients will replace more polluting fuels with a cleaner alternative at competitive costs. For industrial clients, LNG becomes an alternative mainly to the use of fuel oil, and in transportation, it replaces diesel oil.
The replacement of diesel fuel in trucks with LNG is being developed with a partner and represents a pioneering solution in Brazil, with high growth potential and emission reduction, through which Eneva intends to create the 1st Green Corridor in Brazil in the North and Northeast regions near the Parnaíba Complex, where there is a high circulation of road fleets mainly transporting agricultural production to the ports in the region.
